The Laboratory for Advanced Media Production was founded in 2005 and is Australia's premier emerging media R&D and production lab. Facilitated by the Australian Film TV and Radio School in Sydney, LAMP has reached thousands of media professionals, run hundreds of workshops, seminars and eight live-in-residentials and developed over 61 projects. Project teams create proof of concepts, engaging presentations and evolve the business, technical and creative aspects of their property, leading to pilots, user testing and participatory audiences.
LAMP is also commited to growing a strong Australian mentor pool (vs just temporarily importing international visitors) and is a unique mix of seminars, workshops, immersive rapid prototyping residentials and industry focused product development.
LAMP accepts project applications from all parts of the Australian media industry and looks forward to hearing from you. Click 'How to Apply' above, to see the latest lab dates if you would like to evolve your property for mobile devices, advanced television, broadband portals and social networks, games, virtual worlds and more.
